Pour water into percolator reservoir
Add medium ground coffee to fill the percolator basket. Do not tamp it down, but just level off the top. Screw on the top section tightly, making sure it is straight.
Head on medium until the water just starts to bubble out, then immediately turn the heat to low or switch off completely. It's very important that you do not allow the water to boil.
Allow the rest of the coffee to slowly percolate through. The brew is complete when the upper section is full and just steam emerges from the spout.
